On the occasion of the eighth centenary of the death of Saint Francis, Lake Trasimeno is also celebrating his sanctity. The Provincia Sancti Francisci seuUmbriae (Province of Umbria) recounts the areas that Saint Francis visited or otherwise traversed as he preached from place to place.
The exhibition of maps, books, and views was made possible thanks to the generosity of Carla Cicioni and Piero Giorgi, who provided the precious material from their collection.
