The World Tourism Event (WTE) came about to promote UNESCO Heritage sites located in Italy and other places in the world. This year the event will be held in Assisi and will host Lake Trasimeno, which is Italy’s 4th largest lake and, thanks to its central location, surrounded by some of Umbria and Tuscany’s great art cities.
