The 150 hectares Tenuta di Caiolo farm is divided into two separate holdings: the estate’s vineyards and wheat fields are situated to the north of the charming medieval hill town of Panicale, while our olive groves, farmhouses and other accommodation facilities, in a unspoilt 60 hectares estate is immersed in the beauty of nature.
At guests' disposal: 3 apartments and 3 holiday homes, with a swimming pool and jacuzzi, as well as a restaurant and tasting centre with a terrace overlooking the swimming pool, where guests can savour meals prepared with typical local produce.
Caiolo, Toponym of Lombard origin, indicates the place where the army horses were raised, a ancient Orsini´s structure.
Luigi Orsini, in the 1950s, bequeathed it to his nephew Fausto Sepiacci. Passed to the Sepiacci´s FamilyThe Tenuta di Caiolo war’ expanded with the acquisition of neighboring properties from the Sottocasa´s Earl. The company borders the small village of Migliaiolo where is it also the old manor house and the eighteenth-century church of San Donnino, owned by the family, restored and today in great demand to celebrate weddings.
Fausto, and his wife Giuseppina started in the 80s the transformation into the first farmhouse in the area. Massimo, son of Giuseppina and Fausto, his sons Daniele and Elena and his wife Giselda continue the work started many years earlier, with great enthusiasm.
