Tuesday 22 July, in Marsciano. The Blues is Afro-American music that pulls at your heartstrings, it is steeped in passion, rich with the rhythms of Jazz, Ragtime and Spirituals.
The festival’s first concert features the Manara Blues playing at 6:30pm in via del Tempio. Then, at 9:30 pm at Piazza dello Statuto the show goes on with the Chris Bergson & Ellis Hooks Band, a modern sound the blends Blues and Soul, a sound that inflames the hearts of all who hear it.
Wednesday 23 July, at Tavernelle, at 9:30 pm, in Piazzale Amendola. This concert features Lakeetra Knowels, born in Arkansas, and her Music Train Band. Lakeetra’s voice is versatile and spans the amazing sounds of Soul, Blues and American Folk music.
Thursday 24 July in Passignano sul Trasimeno, at 9:30 pm at Parco del Pidocchietto. The stage will be taken by Lebron Johnson, a Nigerian singer with a smooth and seductive voice singing Soul and Jazz music as only he can.
Friday 25 July in Castiglione del Lago, at 9:30 pm at the Rocca Medievale. This concert features John Németh & The Blue Dreamers. Németh is one of modern day’s greatest harmonica players, a multiple Blues Award winner and author of many Electric Blues and Soul songs. His voice is soulful, rife with passion and meaning. Tickets: €20.
Friday 25 July, at Castiglione del Lago, at 11:30 pm at the Darsena Live Music. Falou Seck & The Melting Beats, a young Italian band with a deep passion for Jazz and Funk. Tickets: €10.
Saturday 26 July, in Castiglione del Lago, three concerts not to be missed!:
- the 1st set is at 6:30pm on Piazza Mazzini and features Alberto Visentin, and eclectic musician who plays guitar, sings and composes. A true natural talent that spans from Rock to Funk, from Reggae to Blues;
- the 2nd set is at the Rocca Medievale at 9:30 pm. The D.K. Harrell Blues Band will perform for the first time in Italy. A rising star of the new generation of Afro-American Bluesmen, they are not to be missed! Tickets: €25.
- The last set of the evening is at the Darsena Live Music at 11:45 pm. The Kantner Brothers will take the festival into the wee hours performing his unique and very personal version of country music, a perfect blend of the vast pasturelands of North America and the countryside of Umbria.
Sunday 27 July at the Rocca Medievale in Castiglione del Lago. The closing concert of the 2025 festival will see an explosion of Folk-Funk performed by Bobby Rush and the Crystal Thomas Band. Bobby Rush, is a legend of Black Music, he’s a guitarist, harmonicist and refined singer with a great sense of humour everyone loves. Tickets: €25.
